Ethiopian Airlines to Launch Direct Flights to Port Harcourt from December 2026
Good news for travellers in Rivers State and the South-South region of Nigeria!
Ethiopian Airlines is set to begin scheduled passenger flights to Port Harcourt from 1 December 2026, making Port Harcourt its fifth destination in Nigeria.
The new service will operate four times a week — Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, connecting Port Harcourt's Omagwa International Airport with Ethiopian Airlines' hub in Addis Ababa.

The new Port Harcourt route will give travellers access to Ethiopian Airlines' extensive international network through Addis Ababa.
From there, passengers can connect to destinations across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.
